Manila International Book Fair 2025 Returns with ‘Get Lit’ Theme

The nation's most awaited literary festival, the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), will return from September 10 to 14, 2025. As the country's biggest and longest-established book fair, the MIBF will again be the top convention for publishers, authors, teachers, and readers of all ages at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

This year, the MIBF guarantees an even more majestic experience, occupying two entire floors of the SMX Convention Center, bringing to life a world of books, imagination, and learning. The fair will run under the theme "Get Lit," with a special emphasis on the subtitle "Stories in Every Form." This theme honors the changing and diverse world of storytelling, from classic printed books to comics, graphic novels, and digital.

Aside from the expansive exhibition area, visitors can also anticipate a packed series of special activities, such as book signings with favorite authors, engaging talks, product demonstrations, and privileged launches, adding to the fullness of the MIBF experience.

"Each year, we try to craft an environment that really honors the whole ecosystem of reading and learning," according to Irene Lloren, President of Primetrade Asia, Inc. "By making use of two whole floors of the SMX, we're not merely mounting an event; we're crafting a city of books and ideas. This year, we're particularly proud to provide a whole experience where families can discover new stories in the MIBF, and our academe partners can find innovative solutions at School World, all under one roof."
